Laser Audio Transmitter

Description: I'm particularly proud of this project. I found the plans to build this on Instructables and bought the parts at RadioShack. It converts sound from the input jack into light from a laser, which is picked up by a photo diode, amplified back into the range of human hearing, and output through a speaker.

It looks impressive when in use (a fog machine adds to the dramatic effect but has a rather poor effect on the quality of the sound).

I still cherish this creation as the first real example of me making a nice case for something I built.
